Position Summary:

MoEngage is seeking an SEO/Content Outreach Specialist who can lead and scale our content distribution and SEO outreach efforts through traditional and out-of-the-box campaign ideas. This role will be responsible to build and maintain relationships with websites/influencers of our interest and target high-quality off-page opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience building and managing SEO outreach campaigns, link building strategies and content distribution for B2B SaaS companies.

Roles and Responsibilities -

This resource will be assigned to SEO to fulfil the following roles and responsibilities.

  1. Pitching stories/content ideas to publications, blogs and get them published.
  2. Community engagement on Quora, Medium, Growthhackers.com, Zest, Social groups etc.
  3. Influencer research – identifying influencers around various niches, categories, geographical locations for different campaigns.
  4. Creating and optimizing content, contributing to the overall content distribution strategy.
  5. Working on HARO and other platforms to procure relevant content.
  6. Ensure on-page content strategy aligns with SEO off-page strategy and backlinking plan for streamlined SEO efforts.
  7. Plan and define backlinking strategy and conduct outreach appropriate for each of our content groups/keywords.  

Requirements:

  1. Excellent writing skills, preferably someone with at least 3-4+ years of writing experience
  2. Experience with SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, MOZ etc.
  3. Knowledge of SEO and the “white hat” way.
  4. Someone with a natural passion and a flair for storytelling and writing with impeccable grammar
  5. Research skills and interest in startups, SaaS, business and technology, aware of SEO & Social media fundamentals.
  6. Prior experience in content marketing and B2B SaaS a plus.
  7. PR & mass communication background is a plus.
