About the Sales team: 

You will be part of the India sales team which is responsible for revenue generation from clients originating from India and the Middle East. Within the India sales team, this team is a vertical focus team dedicated to the BFSI vertical in MoEngage. Some of the important tasks for the team include

  • Identifying prospective digital first and mobile first clients and mapping the right stakeholders in the BFSI space
  • Create a network of influencers in the industry who can help create a network effect and increase our outreach/presence 
  • Be updated about the BFSI  industry movement of key personnel at the client end 
  • Competition mapping and understanding the key differences between us vs our competitors 
  • Stay on top of emerging trends in technology and new business opportunities
  • Be the eyes and ears of the company and share regular product feedback of clients/ prospects with the product team 
  • Continuously monitor global and your regional trend in BFSI and have a deep understanding of the ecosystem.

We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Salesperson with experience in Banking & Financial Services to lead the BFSI sales for us in India, Middle East and Africa. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Own the numbers for BFSI vertical and work with cross-functional teams across inside sales, marketing, partner and product teams to deliver the numbers.
  • Scope out the entire BFSI landscape across India, Middle East and Africa  and identify the growth opportunities.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process and provide clear visibility on the pipeline to the leadership team.
  • Analyze and identify how MoEngage can eliminate our clients’ engagement and retention challenges. Be a trusted advisor to the key accounts on all user engagement & retention.
  • Build and maintain C-Level relationships in the named Enterprise Accounts
  • Work closely with management to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities/challenges, and provide recommended solutions
  • Nurture the prospective clients on industry trends and innovative solutions for the key challenges across the ecosystem.
  • Meet or exceed sales target for enterprise accounts within India and MEA region
  • Have a keen understanding of trends and movements in the BFSI space to quickly identify new opportunities.
  • Awareness on Information Security concepts and Best Practices

 

  

Requirements:

 

  • 8+  years of proven SaaS sales experience, including Enterprise Sales, and a minimum of 6 years in the BFSI vertical across the India region. Exposure to the Middle East would be an advantage
  • Consistent over-achievement of quotas. 
  • Marketing Technology/Analytics sales experience is a plus.
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations with the ability to build relevant, strategic messaging

 

  • Excellent C-level connection in BFSI space
  • Proven experience to build strong C-level relationships in the region.
  • Successful track record of planning and rolling out GTM strategies in the region.
  • Self-starter who works proactively to navigate large organizations and identify potential opportunities.
  • Ability to seamlessly collaborate with cross-functional teams, including inside sales, product marketing, growth, customer success and product.
  • Outstanding verbal and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience in Digital Marketing
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations with the ability to build relevant, strategic messaging
  • Strong operational and analytical abilities. Metric driven, comfortable in working with data to draw and share insights with stakeholders.
